More than just a movie

How can you call them just moving pictures?

They are lives, dreams and memories,

Sometimes they are my life,

They are my philosophers,

They are my therapists.

I am not much a fan of poetry,

But I do have felt poetry in them.

I cannot really understand the abstract paintings,

But I have experienced the most beautiful sceneries.

How can you tell it is just for entertainment?

They are lives, dreams and memories.

A life that I could live in the few hours,

A dream I wish happened when it gets over,

A memory that will remain with me even after I leave.

I don’t understand why a lot of you call them movies,

I prefer calling them fleeting moments, which I can live,

Whenever I want to live in them.
