The Road

This road has seen me happy,

Has seen me overwhelmed,

Has seen me secretly crying,

Has seen me having fun,

Today it saw me distracted,

It should have been a memorable drive,

But as the wheels rolled,

So did my thoughts,

About life, the future,

The pain, the confusion,

The good and bad memories,

The almost everything,

In the end, it made me realize one thing,

Happiness is all about sharing.
